Information Overload!

There are many well-researched, Bible-based Christian Bible study, apologetics and discernment sites on the Internet. My main question has been which site or sites align closely to the Word of God: the Bible?

It takes a lot of time to read through some of the pages and then to do as the Bereans of scripture did. Acts 17:10 & 11 tells us, “That night the brothers immediately sent Paul and Silas away to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the Jewish synagogue. These people were more receptive than those in Thessalonica. They were very willing to receive the message, and every day they carefully examined the Scriptures to see if those things were so.” (ISV) Following the Bereans’ example is not an easy task, but it is well worth the time and effort.

“Then we will no longer be little children, tossed like waves and blown about by every wind of doctrine, by people’s trickery, or by clever strategies that would lead us astray.” Ephesians 4:14 (ISV)

We are to be known, as individuals by the fruit we show in our lives. The same goes for ministries. This means that we can know that an apple tree, for instance, is an apple tree because it bears apples – not watermelons!

What a website or ministry publishes is a part of its fruit. When you read, hear or watch what they present, and it lines up with the Word of God (be a Berean), then you can trust what they wrote, said or presented – at least until the next time. This website is open to the same “fruit inspection,” but please be gentle!
